Creamy Gochujang Noodles

Are you looking for some comfort food to help get through the cold, winter months? Look no further! These noodles are sweet, spicy, savory and comforting with the creamiest texture that will leave your tastebuds wanting more!


⏱ Prep Time: 10 mins | Total Time: 10 mins | Servings: 1 | Difficulty: Easy


INGREDIENTS

  • 100g Japanese udon noodles

  • 2tbs. Gochujang paste

  • 2tbs. Dark soy sauce

  • 2tbs. Peanut butter

  • 1tbs. Toasted sesame oil

  • 1tbs. Noodle water

  • Dash of sesame seeds


METHOD

  1. Boil noodles for 5 min. Until cooked

  2. Whilst noodles are cooking, whisk together gochujang paste, peanut butter, soy sauce & sesame oil until fully incorporated.

  3. Combine noodles & a little bit of its water to the sauce mixture

  4. Garnish with sesame seeds & enjoy!


ADDITIONS/SUBSTITUTIONS

  • For a healthier option, substitute the udon noodles for rice or buckwheat noodles & substitute

Soy sauce for coconut aminos.

  • For a crunchier texture, use extra crunchy peanut butter

  • Allergic to nuts? Use sesame seed butter instead.

  • For extra protein add some seasoned tofu to your dish!
