It’s nutty, it’s creamy, it serves as such a healthy, nutritious and fueling breakfast option.

OH, and did I mention, it’s 100% plant-based! I know I’m all about keeping my carbs low & slow, but this peanut butter, banana & oat smoothie bowl has all the right ingredients to help kick start your day whilst keeping your tummy full & your taste buds satisfied for HOURS!

⏱ Prep Time: 5 mins | Total Time: 5 mins | Servings: 1 | Difficulty: Easy

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 ice cubes

  • 1 medium banana

  • 1 tbsp organic peanut butter

  • 1 tbsp plant-based yogurt (I use Alpro)

  • ½ tsp pure vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • ½ cup oat milk

  • ½ cup homemade granola (link to recipe on website)

METHOD

1. Add all ingredients to a blender or Magic Bullet

2. Blend until a rich, smooth and thick texture forms

3. Pour into a bowl

4. Garnish with a dash of cinnamon and extra granola for that satisfying crunch!

ADDITIONS & SUBSTITUTIONS

  • Swap oat milk for any plant-based mylk you prefer

  • No peanut butter? Almond or cashew butter work beautifully

  • Add a handful of spinach for an extra nutrient boost, you won’t taste it!

  • Top with fresh banana slices, goji berries or hemp seeds for extra goodness

The key is not to over-blend; you want it thick enough to eat with a spoon, not drink! Don’t skip the granola on top! That crunch with every bite is everything.
